Your responsibilities

Keep Our Systems Secure - Even When It Gets Complex


Join our team as an IT Security Engineer and play a key role in shaping the security strategy of a company that combines technology and energy trading. From phishing detection and endpoint protection to building an ISMS – your work will protect our people, systems, and processes.


  • Operate and maintain central security tools: antivirus, identity platforms (e.g. AD, Entra ID), firewalls, VPN
  • Analyze and handle phishing incidents, run internal awareness campaigns
  • Harden Windows, Linux, and macOS systems based on best practices to reduce attack surfaces
  • Implement identity and privilege management policies, including enforcement of the least-privilege principle
  • Support the development and rollout of an ISMS (Information Security Management System)
  • Vulnerability management: monitoring, assessment, and coordination of remediation with internal teams
  • Act as the go-to person for colleagues on secure system and software design
  • Communicate with external security providers and service partners

Your skills

Must-Haves

  • Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in IT security or infrastructure with a strong security focus
  • Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
  • Good understanding of network security (firewalls, VPN, routing)
  • Experience with identity and access management (e.g. AD, Entra ID, GPOs)
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
  • Experience in endpoint security and system hardening
  • Basic knowledge of vulnerability management and ISMS standards
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Analytical mindset, initiative, and strong team player
  • Enjoy problem-solving and proactively bringing in new ideas
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and work on projects together

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with incident response processes
  • Basic understanding of cloud security principles
  • Knowledge of endpoint management (e.g. MDM tools)
  • Security certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, ISO 27001)
  • German language skills for coordinating with service providers
