Your responsibilities

  • Development of state-of-the-art software for energy trading (in Java 11 and Eclipse RCP)
  • Integration of various software systems and development of interfaces (API)
  • Organization and processing of big data, including optimization of data quality
  • Tasks are not prescribed, but developed together

  • Framework: selectable, we use Spring
  • DBMS: MySQL

Your skills

Must-Haves

  • Good grades in computer science or comparable subjects
  • Project-based experience and understanding of Java and OOP (study content or in free time)
  • Passion for the field
  • Enjoy problem-solving and analytical approach and proactively bringing in new ideas
  • Interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Enjoy learning, training and professional exchange and working together on projects
  • High level of self-motivation
  • Independent way of working
  • Good (technical) English

Nice-to-haves

  • Further knowledge of our stack
  • First job-based development experience with Java
  • Understanding of multi-threading

Due to internal capacity constraints, we are currently only able to consider applicants who are seeking a full-time internship, e.g., as part of a mandatory internship, followed by a working student position, or who are nearing the end of their studies and would like to transition into a permanent position.


As team spirit and short communication ways are important to us, we would like you to be regularly present in the office, especially during onboarding - although mobile working is of course still possible from time to time.
